In Australia, the clocks change for daylight saving time as follows in 2025:
- Daylight saving time starts on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 2:00 AM local standard time. The clocks are moved forward one hour to 3:00 AM local daylight time. This applies to New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, and the Australian Capital Territory.
- Daylight saving time ended earlier that year on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 3:00 AM daylight time, when clocks were turned back one hour to 2:00 AM standard time.
States of Queensland, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory do not observe daylight saving time and do not change clocks.
