when does brook join the crew

Brook officially joins the Straw Hat Pirates crew at the end of the Thriller Bark arc in episode 381 of the anime, titled "A New Crewmate! The Musician, Humming Brook," and chapter 489 of the manga. This marks his formal request to join the crew and Luffy's acceptance of that request.
