Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU) will return for its Season 27 on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 9/8c on NBC. The new episodes will air on Thursday nights and will also be available to stream on Peacock the day after each broadcast. This season will follow the Season 25 premiere of the original Law & Order series on the same night, which airs at 8/7c. The SVU season will feature some cast changes and a new showrunner, Michele Fazekas, taking over.
