when does peacemaker season 3 come out

There is currently no official release date for Peacemaker Season 3 because HBO Max has not yet renewed the show for a third season. James Gunn, the show's creator and DC Studios CEO, has stated in interviews that there are no immediate plans for Season 3, but the character Peacemaker and some of the show's elements will continue in the DC Universe in some form. The story and characters may appear in other DC projects rather than a direct Season 3 continuation. The second season just recently concluded in October 2025, and it is unclear if or when a third season will be produced or released.
