SAT scores are generally released about 2 weeks after the test date. For SAT tests taken on a Saturday, scores typically become available the following Friday around 8 p.m. Eastern Time, with some releases as early as the morning of release day. For SAT tests taken during a school day in the week, scores may be released 3-4 weeks later, often first to school counselors before students see them. For example, for the spring 2025 SATs:
- March 8, 2025 test scores released on March 21, 2025
- May 3, 2025 test scores released on May 16, 2025
- June 7, 2025 test scores released on June 20, 2025
Scores are accessed online via the College Board account. Schools also receive scores shortly after the online release. The exact time of day varies, but most students can expect scores by the second Friday after the Saturday test date.
