when does season 2 of the pitt come out

Season 2 of "The Pitt" is scheduled to premiere in January 2026. The exact date given by sources is January 8, 2026. Production for the new season has already begun as of June 2025. The second season will take place over the Fourth of July weekend, roughly 10 months after the events of season 1, and will continue the format of following a 15-hour shift at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital.
