The film is part of Marvel Phase 6 and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Filming began in August 2025, and the movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The release date was pushed back from an original July 24, 2026 date to avoid clashing with Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," which also features Tom Holland.
