The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts in late 2025:
- Volume 1 (episodes 1-4) will premiere on November 26, 2025.
- Volume 2 (episodes 5-7) will be released on December 25, 2025 (Christmas).
- The final episode (episode 8) will be released on December 31, 2025 (New Year's Eve).
Each part will be available worldwide simultaneously at 5 p.m. Pacific Time on their respective dates. This release schedule marks the first time in the series that the final episode will be released separately from the rest of the season. The season consists of eight episodes total set in the fall of 1987, with a focus on the ultimate confrontation with the villain Vecna in Hawkins, Indiana.
