Fortnite returned to iOS in the United States in May 2025 after a long absence since 2020. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney confirmed on April 30, 2025, that Fortnite Mobile would be available again for U.S. iPhone users following a court ruling that led Apple to update its App Store rules regarding payment systems. The game was expected to come back around May 10–15, 2025, but final approval took a bit longer with the app stuck in Apple's review process for a while. The game officially reappeared on the App Store around mid-May 2025, and players were able to download it directly on iPhones and iPads, regaining full crossplay and access to all content. Moreover, Epic introduced a 20% back reward for using their direct payment method in the game. Fortnite is also available via Epic Games Store and Alt Store in the European Union. So, Fortnite is back on iOS as of May 2025, and players can now download and play it again on their Apple devices.
