The next main game in the Grand Theft Auto series, Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), is officially scheduled to be released on May 26, 2026. This is a delay from the previously expected fall 2025 launch. Rockstar Games announced that the extra time is needed to finish the game to the quality level fans expect and deserve. GTA 6 will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
