The 2027 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout boat race date hasn’t been officially announced yet. The event is traditionally held in late August and features a week of boating activities leading up to the main high-speed powerboat races. The 2026 edition is scheduled for August 29-30, but organizers haven’t published a confirmed 2027 race weekend on the official event calendar.
The separate Lake of the Ozarks Shootout 7v7 football tournament is scheduled for June 19-20, 2027 , but that’s a different event from the well-known powerboat race.
For the boat race, expect the 2027 schedule to be released through the official Lake of the Ozarks Shootout website and social channels. Until then, any specific August date should be treated as unconfirmed.
