Astroworld Festival was first held in November 2018 in Houston, Texas. It was an annual music festival run by Travis Scott, named after his 2018 album "Astroworld." The festival took place at NRG Park, near the former site of the Six Flags AstroWorld theme park. The 2020 festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2021 festival occurred on November 5, 2021, but was tragically marked by a fatal crowd crush during the first night of the event.
