Eric Dane was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and announced his diagnosis publicly in April 2025. He began experiencing symptoms approximately a year and a half before the diagnosis, noticing weakness first in his right hand. Despite the diagnosis, he continued to work, including filming for the HBO series Euphoria.
