Grounded 2 was released in early access (Game Preview) on July 29, 2025. However, the full 1.0 version of Grounded 2 has not yet been released and is expected to remain in early access at least through spring 2026. Based on the development timeline of the first Grounded game, which took about 26 months in early access before its full release, Grounded 2's complete release might not happen until 2027 or later. The developers plan to release significant content updates every four to five months during this early access period, gradually expanding the game until the full launch.
