Major League Baseball (MLB) Spring Training for 2025 will officially start on Thursday, February 20th. The first game will feature the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs opening the Cactus League season in Glendale, Arizona. The Grapefruit League will begin the next day, Friday, February 21st, with the Tampa Bay Rays playing against the New York Yankees in Tampa, Florida. By Saturday, February 22nd, all 30 MLB teams will be playing Spring Training games. Additionally, pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to their teams between February 9th and 18th, while position players report a bit later between February 14th and 18th. Spring Training games will run through late March, ending around March 25th, just before the regular season's Opening Day on March 27th.
