Cam Ward, the American football quarterback, went to college at three different schools during his collegiate career:
- He started at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) from 2020 to 2021, where he won the Jerry Rice Award as the most outstanding freshman in FCS football.
- He then transferred to Washington State University, playing there for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
- For his final season in 2024, Ward transferred to the University of Miami, where he was named ACC Player of the Year and won the Davey O'Brien and Manning awards as the top college quarterback
After his college career, Cam Ward was selected first overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2025 NFL Draft and is now playing professionally for them
