where did carmelo anthony go to high school

Carmelo Anthony attended high school at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia for his senior year. Before transferring to Oak Hill Academy, he spent his first three years of high school at Towson Catholic High School in Baltimore. The transfer to Oak Hill was made to improve both his academic performance and basketball prospects, under the guidance of Oak Hill's coach Steve Smith. At Oak Hill, Anthony had a standout senior season, averaging 21.7 points and 8.1 rebounds, and earning significant recognition as a top high school basketball player.
