Charlie Kirk was shot on the roof of the Losee Center at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah. The shooting occurred while Kirk was addressing an audience at an outdoor event on the university campus. The single bullet hit him in the neck at approximately 12:20 p.m. on September 10, 2025. The suspect had climbed onto the roof of the building overlooking the event and fired from there before fleeing the scene.
