where did daniel morcombe go missing

Daniel Morcombe went missing from an unofficial bus stop under the Kiel Mountain Road overpass in the Woombye district of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. He was last seen on December 7, 2003, at around 2:10 PM, waiting for a bus to take him to the Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre to buy Christmas presents and get a haircut. The bus had broken down, and a replacement bus drove past without stopping. Shortly after, Daniel was abducted within a span of about three minutes at that location.
