where did ed gein live

Ed Gein lived on a rural farm outside the town of Plainfield, Wisconsin. He was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, but around 1915, his family moved to this isolated farm near Plainfield, which became his permanent residence. After the death of his parents and brother, Ed Gein remained living alone on this farm. His home and property were located in Plainfield, Wisconsin, where his gruesome crimes were discovered in the late 1950s.
