Joe Flacco went to college at the University of Delaware. Before transferring there, he initially joined the University of Pittsburgh on a full scholarship but had limited playing time. At Delaware, he played for the Fightin' Blue Hens, where he had a record-breaking two-year tenure as quarterback, setting 20 school records including passing yards in a single season (4,263 yards in 2007) and career completions (595). He led Delaware to an 11-4 record and a berth in the NCAA FCS title game in 2007.
