Justin Fields played three seasons with the Chicago Bears before being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. After spending the 2024 season with the Steelers, where he started six games and went 4-2 before being benched, Fields signed a two-year, $40 million contract with the New York Jets ahead of the 2025 season. He chose the Jets largely because of the opportunity to play for new Jets head coach Aaron Glenn, whose coaching style and passion Fields admired.
