where did the eureka stockade take place

The Eureka Stockade occurred in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, at a site within the Eureka Stockade Memorial Park, alongside the Eureka Stockade Gardens and the Eureka Centre, with the most commonly cited location being the Eureka Lead area in Ballarat East where the stockade was built on 3 December 1854.
