Archived emails in Gmail are not stored in a separate "Archived" folder. Instead, when you archive an email, it is removed from your inbox and moved to the "All Mail" label (folder). This label contains all the emails in your Gmail account, including the archived ones. You can find your archived emails by opening the "All Mail" folder, which is usually accessed from the left menu by clicking "More" if it is not visible immediately. To locate archived emails:
- On the web or app, open Gmail and look for the "All Mail" folder.
- Archived emails will appear there without the "Inbox" label.
- You can also search for archived emails by using the search bar or typing "in:archive" (though sometimes this search can mix results).
If you want to move an archived email back to your inbox, open the archived email and select "Move to Inbox." In summary, archived emails go to the "All Mail" folder in Gmail, where they remain until deleted or moved back to the inbox.
