Downloaded files on an iPhone can be found mainly in the Files app. To locate them:
- Open the Files app (use the search feature if you don’t see it on the home screen).
- Tap the Browse tab at the bottom right.
- Under Locations, select "On My iPhone" or "iCloud Drive."
- Tap the "Downloads" folder to see your downloaded files.
For specific types of downloads:
- Photos downloaded from the internet will appear in the Photos app.
- Downloaded music can be found in the Music app under Library > Downloaded.
- In Safari, you can also tap the "aA" icon next to the address bar then tap "Downloads" to see recent downloads within 24 hours.
If downloads aren't visible, check the Safari settings under Settings > Safari
Downloads to see where files are being saved (either On My iPhone or iCloud Drive) and adjust as needed for future downloads.
