The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree for 2025 comes from East Greenbush, New York, donated by Judy Russ and her family. The Norway spruce is about 75 feet tall and weighs around 11 tons, and it was felled in early November before being transported to Manhattan for the annual tree lighting ceremony. It’s tradition for the tree to be illuminated in early December and to stay on display through mid-January before the wood is repurposed for Habitat for Humanity.
