where does conception occur

Conception occurs primarily in the fallopian tubes. This is where an egg released from the ovary meets and is fertilized by a sperm cell. After fertilization, the fertilized egg (zygote) travels down the fallopian tube to the uterus where it may implant on the uterine wall, leading to pregnancy.
