Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck during a speaking event on the campus of Utah Valley University. The bullet struck the left side of his neck while he was sitting under a tent responding to questions from the audience. The shot was fired from the roof of the Losee Center, approximately 130 to 150 yards away from where Kirk was seated. Witnesses saw blood pouring from the left side of his neck immediately after the shot, and he slumped over as his security team rushed to help him.
