Comet 3I/ATLAS is currently located in the constellation Libra. It is about 374 million kilometers from Earth, with right ascension coordinates of 14h 27m 35s and declination of -11° 03' 34" in apparent celestial coordinates. As of now, from locations such as Greenwich, UK, 3I/ATLAS can be observed in the southwest sky at about 18.7 degrees above the horizon. The comet is moving toward perihelion, which it will reach on October 29, 2025, passing between the orbits of Earth and Mars. After perihelion, it will continue on its trajectory through the solar system and eventually exit it.
