To locate an AirTag on your iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open the Find My app on your iPhone. If you don't have it installed, you can download it for free from the App Store.
- At the bottom of the Find My app, tap the Items tab. This will show a list of all AirTags linked to your Apple ID.
- Tap the AirTag you want to locate. You will see its location on a map and options to help find it.
- If the AirTag is nearby, tap Find Nearby (available on iPhone 11 or later with Ultra Wideband support). Follow the on-screen arrow and sound cues to precisely locate the AirTag within a few meters.
- If the AirTag is not nearby, you can see its last known location on the map and get directions to it.
- You can also tap Play Sound to make the AirTag emit a sound to help you find it.
- If you cannot find your AirTag, you can put it into Lost Mode in the Find My app, which allows you to enter contact information so someone who finds it can reach you.
Make sure your iPhone has Location Services, Bluetooth, and Find My enabled, and is connected to the internet for the best tracking experience
