where is belarus

Belarus is a landlocked country located in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. The capital and largest city is Minsk. Belarus covers an area of about 207,600 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 9.1 million people. It lies in the Northern and Eastern hemispheres, with latitude around 53°N and longitude around 27°E.
