Bungay is a small market town in the east of England. It is in the county of Suffolk, close to the border with Norfolk.
Location
Bungay lies in the Waveney Valley in north Suffolk, beside a loop of the River Waveney, which forms part of the boundary between Norfolk and Suffolk. It is about 12 miles south of the city of Norwich and roughly 5 to 6 miles west of the nearby town of Beccles.
