The home ground of the Hawthorn Football Club, also known as the Hawks, is currently the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Historically, the club played at Glenferrie Oval, located in the suburb of Hawthorn, from 1903 until 1973, and then moved to other grounds including Princes Park and Waverley Park before settling at the MCG as their main home ground for games. The MCG is a large and iconic stadium that can hold over 100,000 spectators and is used for the majority of Hawthorn's home matches in the Australian Football League (AFL).
