where is hickman county tn located

Hickman County, Tennessee is located in the middle of Tennessee, about an hour's drive southwest of Nashville. Its county seat is Centerville, which lies near the center of the county. The county features rolling hills, farmland, and the Duck River flowing through it. It is part of the Nashville–Davidson–Murfreesboro–Franklin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The county covers about 613 square miles and is in the Central Time Zone. Hickman County is bordered by Dickson County to the north, Williamson County to the east, Maury County to the southeast, Lewis County to the south, Perry County to the west, and Humphreys County to the northwest.
