where is jazz chisholm from

Jazz Chisholm Jr. is from Nassau, Bahamas. He grew up in the capital city of the Bahamas and started playing baseball there as a young child. His grandmother, Patricia Coakley, a former shortstop for the Bahamas national softball team, introduced him to baseball at the age of two. Later, at age 12, he moved to the United States to attend high school in Wichita, Kansas, where he played multiple sports including baseball. After high school, he returned to the Bahamas before signing with the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent. He is now a professional baseball player in Major League Baseball (MLB), currently playing for the New York Yankees.
