Knebworth is a village and civil parish located in the north of Hertfordshire, England, just south of Stevenage. It lies in the East of England region and is known for its historic Knebworth House and for hosting major rock and pop concerts since 1974. The village developed around the railway station established in 1884 and has historical roots dating back to at least the 11th century as mentioned in the Domesday Book. Knebworth House, a gothic mansion famous for its gardens and concerts, is situated about 29 miles north of London with direct access from the A1(M) at Stevenage South.
