Lucindale is a small rural town located in the south-east of South Australia, in the Limestone Coast region. It is situated approximately 345 kilometers (214 miles) southeast of Adelaide, the state capital. The town is part of the Naracoorte Lucindale Council local government area and is known for hosting the annual South East Field Days, attracting over 26,000 visitors every March. Lucindale was established in 1877 and named after Lady Jeannie Lucinda Musgrave, the wife of the Governor of South Australia at the time. The town has various community facilities, schools, parks, and sports clubs, with a population of around 288 as of the 2021 census.
