Morocco is a country located in the northwest corner of Africa. It is bordered by the North Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the north. On land, Morocco shares borders with Algeria to the east and the disputed territory of Western Sahara to the south. It lies just across the Strait of Gibraltar from Spain in Europe. The country features diverse geography including the Atlas and Rif mountain ranges, and part of the Sahara Desert in the southeast. Its capital city is Rabat, and its largest city is Casablanca
