Oldbury is a market town located in the metropolitan borough of Sandwell, within the West Midlands county of England. It lies about one mile southwest of West Bromwich and approximately 6 miles from Birmingham city center. Historically, Oldbury was part of Worcestershire but now falls under the West Midlands metropolitan area. The town serves as the administrative center for the Sandwell borough and had a population of around 13,606 in 2011, with a wider built-up area population estimated at 25,488 in 2017. Geographically, it sits at approximately 52.505° latitude and -2.016° longitude in the West Midlands region.
