Edgar Allan Poe is buried in Westminster Hall and Burying Ground in Baltimore, Maryland. His original grave was towards the back of the cemetery in an unmarked spot within the family plot, where his grandfather and brother are also buried. In 1875, he was reburied at a more prominent site near the entrance of the cemetery, marked by a large marble monument. His wife Virginia Clemm Poe and mother-in-law Maria Clemm were later buried with him at this memorial site. The cemetery is located at 519 West Fayette Street, at the corner of North Greene Street, now part of the University of Maryland's School of Law grounds.
