The Orange Bowl college football game is held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
History
The event began in 1935 at Miami Field, moved to the Miami Orange Bowl stadium in 1938, and relocated to Hard Rock Stadium (then Joe Robbie Stadium) in 1996, where it remains today. The original Miami Orange Bowl stadium was demolished in 2008 and replaced by LoanDepot Park.
Recent Events
The 2025 Orange Bowl occurred on January 9, 2025, at Hard Rock Stadium, featuring Penn State versus Notre Dame with a capacity over 65,000. The stadium also hosts the Miami Dolphins and University of Miami Hurricanes.
