where is the sundance film festival held

The Sundance Film Festival is currently held in Park City, Utah, and also includes venues in Salt Lake City, Utah. It traditionally takes place in January. However, starting in 2027, the festival will relocate to Boulder, Colorado, where it will be centered in downtown Boulder at theaters and venues around the Pearl Street Mall and the University of Colorado Boulder campus. The 2026 festival will still be held in Utah, but from 2027 onward, Boulder will be the new home of the Sundance Film Festival.
