where is the us naval academy

The United States Naval Academy (USNA) is located in Annapolis, Maryland. It sits on a 338-acre campus at the confluence of the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay, about 33 miles east of Washington, D.C., and 26 miles southeast of Baltimore. The academy is situated on the grounds of the former Fort Severn in Anne Arundel County.
