You can sell Survey Data in Starfield at three main locations:
- Vladimir Sall on The Eye : The Eye is a space station orbiting Jemison in the Alpha Centauri system. Vladimir offers the best prices for any Survey Data you sell. To sell, dock at The Eye, talk to Vladimir, and select the option "I've got some Survey Data for you" to open the selling menu
- Phil Hill in Cydonia on Mars : Phil Hill buys Survey Data but only for habitable planets-those with temperate temperature, breathable oxygen, moderate fauna and flora, and safe water. He pays more than Vladimir but only for this specific type of data
- Trade Authority Kiosks : These are found in major cities and spaceports like New Atlantis (Jemison) and Cydonia (Mars). They buy Survey Data but offer lower prices compared to Vladimir or Phil Hill. This is a convenient option if you're not near the other two sellers
To sell Survey Data, you must first collect 100% of the data on a planet by scanning all plants, animals, resources, and points of interest. Once completed, the data will appear in your inventory under the "notes" or "miscellaneous" section, ready for sale
. In summary, for the highest profit, sell to Vladimir on The Eye; for habitable planet data, Phil Hill on Mars offers better prices; otherwise, use Trade Authority Kiosks for convenience.
