Danelo Cavalcante was last seen walking on Wawaset Road in Pocopson Township, Pennsylvania, around 9:40 a.m. on the day he escaped Chester County Prison
. Later sightings included him on residential surveillance cameras about 1.5 miles from the prison in Pocopson Township, and he was also spotted on a trail camera at Longwood Gardens on September 4
. He was seen again in the South Coventry Township area, where he was reported shirtless and wearing blue pants, and was considered armed and dangerous
. The search area expanded over time, with sightings reported in East Nantmeal Township, Phoenixville, and other parts of Chester County
