where was irina zaritskaya stabbed

Irina Zaritskaya (also spelled Iryna Zarutska) was stabbed to death on a train in Charlotte, North Carolina. The stabbing occurred on a Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Blue Line light rail train on August 22, 2025, near the Scaley Bark Station a few miles outside of downtown Charlotte. She was attacked by a man named Decarlos Brown while riding the train, and the incident was captured on surveillance video.
