where was the signalman filmed

The Signalman was filmed entirely on location on the Severn Valley Railway in England. Exterior shots were done in Birchen Coppice Cutting and Tunnel Mouth near Kidderminster, Worcestershire. A full-size replica of a Great Western Railway signal box was erected on the Kidderminster side of Bewdley Tunnel for the exterior shots, while the interior shots were filmed in the actual Highley signal box on the Severn Valley Railway.
