Trailer Park Boys was filmed in multiple locations primarily around Nova Scotia, Canada. Early seasons (1 to 4) were shot at various existing trailer parks in the Halifax-Dartmouth area, including Lower Sackville (Woodbine Mobile Home Park), a small trailer park near the Tufts Cove Generating Station in Dartmouth, a park near Governor Lake in Timberlea, and one in Eastern Passage in Halifax. Seasons 5 to 7 were filmed on a custom-built set near Bissett Lake in Cole Harbour, which included trailers and a building that served as a jail set. From season 8 onward, filming took place at the Bible Hill Estates Trailer Park in Truro, Nova Scotia, which was an actual operating trailer park and also where Cory, an actor on the show, grew up. Several of the show's movies had filming in places like Spryfield and Harrietsfield trailer parks around Halifax as well.
