where were the rams before st louis

Before being the St. Louis Rams, the team was known as the Los Angeles Rams. The franchise originally started as the Cleveland Rams in 1936 and played there until 1945. In 1946, the Rams relocated from Cleveland, Ohio, to Los Angeles, California, becoming the Los Angeles Rams. They remained there until 1994. In 1995, the team moved to St. Louis, Missouri, becoming the St. Louis Rams. This relocation was driven largely by stadium issues and financial considerations.
