The AirPods that have the live translation feature are the AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Pro 2, and AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation. This feature requires these AirPods to be paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone running iOS 26 or later, specifically an iPhone 15 Pro or newer model. Users can start live translation by tapping the earbuds or using Siri, allowing speech to be translated in real time into their preferred language through the AirPods, with the iPhone also displaying translated speech.
